Paris Regional Health Launches Intensive Outpatient Program to Support Mental Health

Paris Regional Health is proud to announce the opening of its new Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)— a structured, evidence-based treatment option designed to support adults (18+) who are navigating mental health challenges.

The IOP provides care for individuals experiencing mild to moderate psychiatric distress, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, ADHD, social withdrawal, and dual-diagnosis substance use disorders, among others. Participants engage in group therapy sessions five days a week (Monday through Friday) in a compassionate, structured setting led by licensed therapists, social workers, and medical professionals.

This program is ideal for those who are transitioning from inpatient care or who require more support than traditional outpatient therapy can provide.

Before beginning the program, patients are referred by a physician and complete an initial assessment to determine eligibility and create a personalized plan of care.

Program Goals

Develop healthy and effective coping skills
Strengthen communication and interpersonal abilities
Build self-esteem and confidence
Identify and address underlying causes of mental health issues

Every patient’s journey begins with a confidential assessment, allowing clinical teams to design an individualized treatment plan that promotes recovery and stability.
