North Lamar Student Selected for North Texas Olympic Development Soccer Team ⚽️

Jude Herron, a 4th grader at North Lamar Intermediate and player with Sting East Texas Soccer Club, has been selected to join the North Texas 2015 Boys Olympic Development Program (ODP) team.

“This accomplishment is the result of Jude’s hard work, dedication, and love for the game — and his Sting family couldn’t be more proud,” said Sting ETX in a statement. “Keep pushing, keep dreaming, and keep inspiring.”

The Olympic Development Program identifies and trains the most promising youth soccer players from across the state, offering elite instruction from licensed state and national coaches.

As part of the ODP team, Herron will compete alongside some of the best players in his age group while gaining valuable experience and exposure to higher levels of play — a key step in advancing his soccer career.
