United Way of Lamar County to Host First Campaign Report Out Meeting

The United Way of Lamar County (UWLC) will hold its first Campaign Report Out Meeting on Friday, September 26 at 9:00 a.m. at CASA for Kids, located at 1651 Clarksville Street in Paris.

At the meeting, UWLC volunteers who organize workplace campaigns will share updates on how close they are to meeting their goals. Executive Director Jenny Wilson will also provide an overview of the progress toward this year’s campaign target.

This fall’s Annual Campaign goal is $600,000 to help fund 19 partner agencies across Lamar County in 2026. These partner agencies include:

  • The Salvation Army
  • Downtown Food Pantry
  • The King’s Daughters
  • American Red Cross
  • Boys & Girls Club
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • HomeStay
  • REACH Center
  • Children’s Advocacy Center
  • CASA for Kids
  • Lamar County Child Welfare Board
  • Tailored Rides
  • Lamar County Literacy Council
  • Imagination Library
  • Paris Community Theatre
  • C.E.R.T.
  • RSVP
  • Keep Paris Beautiful
  • Paris Wesley Center

Community members who would like to support the campaign can make a pledge or donation in several ways:

  • In person at the UWLC office, 2340 Lamar Avenue (next to Pickle Printing)

All donations stay local in Lamar County and are tax-deductible.

Executive Director Wilson encouraged the community to get involved, saying:
