The Paris ISD School Board took time during its Monday meeting to recognize a group of dedicated educators who went above and beyond their classroom responsibilities this summer. These teachers volunteered their time to assist the Texas Education Agency (TEA) by reviewing test questions that will be used in state assessments.

Their work involved carefully judging the appropriateness of test content, evaluating the level of difficulty, and ensuring that the questions meet state standards. This effort not only supports the integrity of Texas’ testing system but also directly impacts students across the state by helping to create fair and accurate assessments.

“A big thank you to these dedicated educators who spent part of their summer reviewing test questions for the Texas Education Agency,” district officials said. “Their work provides valuable insight that helps shape state assessments and ultimately benefits students in every Texas classroom.”

To show appreciation for their service, the Paris ISD School Board presented the teachers with Certificates of Appreciation.

“We are so proud of the way they represented our district,” officials added.

The recognition highlights the district’s ongoing commitment to excellence in education and showcases the important role local teachers play in shaping learning outcomes far beyond Paris ISD.
